SensiGen Receives Investment from Ann Arbor SPARK

ANN ARBOR, Mich. & PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 2007--SensiGen LLC, a biotechnology company focused on developing proprietary gene-based molecular diagnostics announced today that Ann Arbor SPARK, the driving force in establishing the Ann Arbor region as a destination for business expansion, retention, and location, has approved a $250,000 investment in SensiGen from the Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund.

The funds will be used to help SensiGen establish a new research laboratory in Ann Arbor and to accelerate development of the Company's revolutionary AttoSense(TM) molecular diagnostic technology.

Since its founding in 2002, the Company has raised more than $3.25 million in pre-seed investment from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and a variety of angel investors in addition to the investment from SPARK.
